PETER: You have heard the truth. You have heard what the prophets foretold. Know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God! I know you think that you are a failure, well let me tell you how many times I failed the Lord! Jesus called me one day to come and follow Him. My brother, Andrew and I were poor fishermen, and Jesus said he wanted to make us fishers of men! I believed in Him. One of his first miracles was healing my mother-in-law when she was sick. I watched Him do so many wonderful things, and I was always the first one to open my mouth and try to show Him that I was His best follower! But I was humbled. He tried to tell us that he was going to suffer and die, and I rebuked Him. He called me Satan! He told me I was not in tune with God. I guess Satan was using me to bring some kind of temptation. But I was always promising that I would never forsake Him and that I would die with Him. Well, he told me on that fateful night, that I would deny Him three times. And I did, just as He said I would…
