WIFE What do you think, Honey? Can we afford the payments?
HUSBAND You know I’m not good at math. Let’s try to figure this out. What other payments are we making right now?
WIFE (Using her phone calculator) Well, we are still paying on your truck. That will be several years before we pay that off.
HUSBAND Right. And there is the boat. We can’t forget the boat.
WIFE I would love to forget the boat. Perhaps we should sell the boat.
CAR SALES PERSON I can give you a good trade in on that boat… we do take those, too…
HUSBAND I’m not selling my boat!
WIFE When was the last time you used it?

WIFE See? You can’t even remember!
HUSBAND You’re getting off topic.
CAR SALES PERSON I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t sell the boat either. A boat and a truck… you’re living the life, sir! Now all you need is this brand new…
HUSBAND (Ignoring him) What other payments are we making?
WIFE We are still making payments on my last two crowns.
